Seeding Some Purple Kush

by AutoAdmin

For the summer I decided to seed some purple kush. It ended up being a difficult plant indoors but was amazing outdoors.

The seedling setup. This turned out to be a bad idea as these domes require a full slate of cubes to keep humidtiy balanced.

Around this time I also started generating my own compost tea.

Sixth Grow Harvest

by AutoAdmin

The sixth grow was harvested and it was glad to be done. Growing itself is very time involved even at a craft level and at this point it was time to pause. This grow itself was very difficult to process and ended up needing 3 days strait. Besides some veg work everything else was done.

Hanging to dry on the racks.

Gnats and Space Problems

by AutoAdmin

This grow had issues with bugs. Natural treatments were tried and failed resulting in a fogger fixing the problem at the expense of using harsh chemicals.

The veg room overflowing.

Bug treatment. Fungus gnat traps worked only so much.

The upstairs grew explosively.

The closet temp had issues when the door was closed. Lost a few clones.

New Veg Room

by AutoAdmin

With the number of plants outgrowing the closet the next stage was to bring the tent back online and install it downstairs. A third light fixture was purchased and the tent setup.

The tent dragged downstairs.

All setup and installed.

New equipment purchased.

The old veg bulb from before.

Lights on ready for moving.

The plants outgrowing their closet space.

Moved in and happy.

Keeps the light out from bothering but the sound of the fans running was annoying. Next time I will try something else.

Time to Replant

by AutoAdmin

A few weeks past and it was time to plant the clones. This would not be my last time growing so many but would be the last time I did this large of a repot. It was definately a challenge the first time around that had issues a few weeks later with over watering and temp.

The clones needed to be repoted and were looking a little weak.

Prepping the soil and containers.

I installed a larger light to cover all the plant canope.

Finally reported wit the weaker ones to the left. I didn’t mind a few dying off.

Treating water for the plants.

I like this micro root food. It helps greatly with the new plants.

A few days later and they are looking much happier and healthier.

Close up of a replant a day after.

Clones, lots of Clones

by AutoAdmin

The downstairs closet was converted over to a veg room again and I decided to try cloning out at a larger scale.

I wanted to make sure I could run all the lighting in my unit so I did a blueprint and mapped out the electrical system.

Setting up the closet for cloning.

Full setup with airflow.

There were a few strains and I wanted to make sure I recorded each.

New blade for the cut.
