The issue with the fungus growing on the clone cubes came back to bite me again. Gnats developed and ended up wrecking havok on the grow.

The first plant from the year before ended up hermi’ed and the seed saved. Half of the seed was sown to see if it would sprout. The other 8 ended up being amnesia haze from Europe. A very strong Sativa.

A week into the seed they developed a fungus issue. One of the reasons to use fresh prop trays every time if your a craft level cultivator.

For the summer I decided to seed some purple kush. It ended up being a difficult plant indoors but was amazing outdoors.

Around this time I also started generating my own compost tea.
The nutrient mixer had been a manual process to date and it was time to program the software to govern it. Very tedious process involving a lot of calibration.

The sixth grow was harvested and it was glad to be done. Growing itself is very time involved even at a craft level and at this point it was time to pause. This grow itself was very difficult to process and ended up needing 3 days strait. Besides some veg work everything else was done.

To advance the power automation a 2 port version of the power jack was built using smaller components. This ended up being an issue as it got smaller there were many wifi connection problems stemming from having to power the wifi antenna. In an updated version we replaced the microprocessor with one that had onboard wifi.

To further the development of the robotic arm. A custom camera was designed for the end and then tested in the grow. It had a high magnification to it which allowed for easy inspection of the tricombs.

To further the security aspect of the project an IR camera sensor was purchased and a prototype night vision camera deployed.
